On August 17, 2019, Kara and Chriss will be married at the Chico Hot Springs Resort in Pray, MT. We look forward to sharing our special moment with friends and family. We can't wait to have an amazing weekend with you! This is a whole family event and we expect quite a few kids, so please feel to bring 'em if you got 'em.
A few of you have asked about where we are registered. Please don't feel like you have to get something, but we registered for a few things on MyRegistry.com. We also wouldn't mind something like sponsoring a dinner or bottle of wine or a dive on our still-in-the-planning stages honeymoon! We just appreciate everyone for coming out and spending time with us.
Both the wedding and reception will be held at the Chico Hot Springs Resort in Pray, MT. Where, pray tell, is Pray you may ask? Somewhere in the mountains between Billings and Bozeman. Part of the fun is just getting there!
ROOMS ARE BOOKING UP FAST, PLEASE CONTACT THE RESORT TO BOOK YOUR ROOM IF YOU HAVEN"T ALREADY!
A block of rooms have been reserved for guests at the resort. There aren't a whole lot of other options in the area, so we recommend you take advantage of the block. The resort is completely booked between our block and other reservations, so please don't hesitate. There are a mix of cabins/chalets and rooms in the main lodge blocked. Please let us know if you have questions about specific rooms. Some of the rooms are in the supposedly haunted old building, so feel free to go in for that if you're interested. Some rooms in the old building DO NOT have private bathrooms, so be sure to check that too if it matters to you.

You're probably going to need a car to get from an airport to Chico. They don't really do Uber out that way and it would take a few days to hike it.
Word is cars are booking up in Bozeman, so please make your car reservation early if you need one!
Bozeman is the closest major airport to the resort and is a great town to visit if you have a chance. The drive from Bozeman to the resort is approximately 1.25hrs.
Billings is Kara's hometown and a little further from the resort (approximately 2.25hrs) but often quite a bit cheaper than Bozeman depending on where you're coming in from.
For ultimate convenience, fly your small private plane directly to the resort. Call the resort number listed above and they will shut down the road for your arrival.
If you're looking for an additional adventure and want to fly in a little further away and drive up through Yellowstone National Park, you'll see some great sights!

One of the greatest National Parks in the US lies just a short drive from the resort. Pretty much a straight shot down 89 to the town of Gardiner outside the
entrance to Yellowstone. If you're extending your visit, we highly recommend staying in Gardiner and at least making the drive through the park.

Cute town with good food and breweries. Check out Neptune's Brewery, which as strange as it sounds has good beer and sushi in the middle of MT..

For all you big fans of 98°, think of making the earlier trip in to Billings for the Montana Fair.
In addition to great rides, livestock competitions, fair food and bingo, the semi-OG boy-band will rock the stage on the 10th.
Outside of that excitement... the fair is definitely worth checking out if you're in Billings between the 9th and 17th.

The resort offers a number of excellent outdoors activites. Horseback riding, hiking, fly Fishing

Most of y'all have seen our pictures, don't miss out on the amazing views you can get from a short hike.
It's pretty wild to drive through someone's ranch and see the remains of an entire town abandoned 100 years ago, or even check out the more touristy places like Virginia City and see how the town used to be.

A real cowboy saloon, so be prepared. Open daily 11:00am-1:30am. Don't order a fancy drink - and that includes asking for some fancy whiskey (ask Chriss about that if you haven't heard the story).
Chico Saloon
Take the plunge into our two open-air natural mineral hot springs pools. Guests soak, swim, play and relax in our chemical-free, geothermally heated pools every day of the year. Watch the sun rise over the Absaroka Mountains or gaze into the night sky while soaking in soothing waters. Resort guests have access from 7:00am-11:00pm daily.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held outside; so please be prepared!
A reception with seated dinner, dancing and drinks will be immediately following the ceremony. And following that, there may be a brief stop in the saloon.
We're shooting for a prohibition / roaring twenties theme of sorts, so feel free to break out your 3-piece suit or best flapper dress to join in the fun. Don't feel like you have to though! Smart casual is perfectly fine as well. We just want everyone to have a good time.
